Microsoft have been recently voted the top corporation in the country for employment and recruitment opportunities in Ireland for 2011. This comes as no surprise as despite the hardened economic times, there has been in fact a rise in openings in the job market for IT experts and technicians. Microsoft have remained a strong presence in our country and offer opportunity for growth and aid in this time of recession. With the country falling deeper into political and economical crisis it is beneficial to see such a large corporation like Microsoft taking root over here and being able to function and grow despite the difficult times we are facing. With this in mind it is easy to see that the future for economic growth and development lies in the IT sector. Along with great career opportunities and advancements in technology IT has provided a stable and unique section for the people of our country to explore and continue to excel in and allow for further growth and advancement.
For recent graduates and those thinking about what to study for college IT is definitely a possible career path for many who wish to secure a job opportunity as soon as they leave college. Microsoft have great programmes on offer for students such as their internship programme which ranges from technical internships to business internships also. Microsoft also offer great career graduate programmes which offer great full-time positions with the company and fall under the same headings as their internship programmes. There are also many opportunities for further training and education for all Microsoft employees and there are many perks and advantages in securing your future career with the corporation. With great opportunities and endless capabilities it is clear that the answer to our problems lies with Microsoft and with IT and by supporting corporations like this with all their various options available to us we will be able to begin to see a light at the end of this dark tunnel that is the recession.
