On Tuesday 6^th Carol Bartz was let go as CEO of Yahoo. Bartz was a well-known force to be reckoned with and harsh CEO with her constant use of profanities and shrewd frankness when dealing with people. The fiery CEO was informed of the Board’s decision to let her go over the phone which many have described as a very under-handed and cowardly way of dismissing someone. Bartz informed the staff of Yahoo via an email describing how she had been let go – “I am very sad to tell you that I’ve just been fired over the phone by Yahoo’s Chairman of the Board.
